Well, technically it's going to be back in development once Henig and Co. are done working on Marvel: 1943, that's where all of the energy is being focused now, and they're not going to do any more work on the Star War game is done.

They seem to have high hopes for this one.

They were calling it the first AAA Star Trek game in the interview IGN did after the trailer reveal.
I think announcing this at IGN Live instead of Summer Game Fest or the Xbox Showcase was a mistake. Most Star Trek fans probably still have no idea this game exists. Announcing it at Summer Game Fest or the Xbox Showcase would have been a better choice. Most gamers watched Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Showcase, while IGN Live attracted a much smaller audience. From a marketing perspective, this is a poor start for the game.

It really doesn't matter where something like this is initially announced, once it's announced on a major site like IGN, word spreads pretty quickly.
If they did another horror one I wonder about following a character trapped on a Borg cube and trying to have to escape. He or she meets other fellow non assimilated people while trying to find a way off the ship.
We already basically got that, twice, in the Elite Force games, and I haven't played it, but think I've seen screenshots from at least one Borg level in Away Team.
And since first post about Shadow Frontier, I've seen it clarified several times that it's not a horror game, it's a psychological thriller.

I'm trying to think, has Star Wars ever done a serious crossover with another franchise? I was thinking that how I'm shocked we still haven't gotten a Star Wars/Marvel Universe crossover comic, and I realized I don't remember ever seen a serious Star Wars crossover with any franchise. Just to be clear I'm not counting joke or parody crossovers like The Muppets, Family Guy, or Robot Chicken.
Marvel has been doing tons of crossovers lately with IPs they have the rights too, including multiple Predator crossovers, an Alien crossover, Conan until the rights changed hands, and even Planet of the Apes. And they've even done multiple Godzilla crossovers, and they don't own those rights. So it really stands out that we haven't gotten a Star Wars one.

A site named Wattpad exists where young girls write YA stories. Some stories written there are later turned into books, then film and TV series adaptations are made. A Reylo fanfiction was written a few years ago. Later, a book was adapted by changing character names. Now, a film that will be released on Prime Video on 23 September is being made. In lead roles, Lili Reinhart and Daisy Ridley’s husband are included.:brickwall::guffaw::hugegrin::lol:

If one wants to appeal to young adults. Properties that are decades old probably aren't the place to bet your money.
