As to which one? Its up to Captain Riker to decide. But I bet Kirk will want to bed either one of them LOL..if not spock..Our Spock with a sexed up mirror T'pring??? Heck..who knows where this story is going. Its like an episode i've never seen.

When someone wants to join the rotation I try to stick them in at the start of rotation...But if Captain Riker is skipped again, then it will be Vixen's turn, yes you are right..then you Mistral....

Riker seemed eager to jump in so hopefully he will...if not, then its cool, anyone can jump out or in, its no biggy....

Thats why you have to be on your toes...you never know when it will be your turn..

so...
Captain Riker is at bat..
Vixen is in the on deck circle
and Mistral is in the dug out reaching for the bat rack...

And Cejay?? If you want in, or anyone else, send me a PM...you're always welcome!!!

Okay, I haven't got Riker's comfirmation that he is doing the next part..so if you read this Riker, hold off, and I will put you back into the rotation again...so for now, VIXEN, it is your turn..

“Fascinating,” Spock said “the three of you are Vulcans.”

The three Vulcan men nodded to Spock when suddenly a voice spoke from another direction.

“Yes, Mister Spock,” a female voice said, “my three compatriots, and I, are all Vulcans.” She said as she walked out of the shadows. She pulled back her hood to reveal a face that Spock had never hoped to see again.

“It is not logical that you are here,” Spock said, then paused, “T’pring.”

And now, our story continues...

Inclining her head, T'Pring pulled her cloak closer around her. "It may appear that way to you, Spock, but nothing other than logic is at work here." Withdrawing a small disk from a pocket inside the cloak, she handed it to Spock. "View this data disk with your tricorder, and all will be understood." Accepting the data disk, Spock quickly and efficiently began to read the data contained within. "Fascinating," he said. Turning back to T'Pring and her three Vulcan compatriots, he raised an eyebrow. "How long have you been with Starfleet Intelligence?" As she was about to reply, two things happened. A light spray of darts came their way, causing them to scatter, and the musical chime indicating a transporter was heard directly behind them. They were surrounded on one side by hostiles and on the other by unknowns. Opening his communicator, Spock quickly but calmly began to speak.

"Spock to Enterprise, four to beam up."

The silence that greeted him was most concerning.

Meanwhile...

Kirk (1) groaned as his body was subjected to continued agony. The bottom of the agony booth was misted with dried blood, making its appearance look like a mottled greyish-red egg shell, with white shards of teeth scattered about. He could no longer stand, as the muscles in his legs spasmed uncontrollably, causing him to roll around on the floor. His uniform was torn by the constant and erratic motions, and every so often a tooth shard would lodge itself into his skin. Kirk (2) stood there, laughing madly and clenching his metallic hand tightly. McCoy by this time had regained consciousness...and wished he hadn't. Kirk (2) ordered two bulky Mallusians to hold him up and force him to watch the torture of his Kirk. "Only a god..." Kirk (2) whispered to himself, the only thing he had said since activating the agony booth. "This is madness! Why don't you stop this, dammit?!" McCoy said, turning towards Kirk (2). "Madness, Doctor? Madness? You know nothing about what sort of madness I am capable of...but in time, you will." With a throaty laugh, Kirk resumed watching the scene in front of him.

On the Enterprise...

The mood around the bridge was tense, since nothing had been heard from Kirk, McCoy, or Spock. Scotty sat in the captain's chair uncomfortably, wanting to do something other than wait. "Commander, there's an incoming transmission from...Starfleet Command, Admiral Quarlo Kabriegny speaking." Sighing, Scotty rose from the chair. "Lieutenant, direct the transmission to the nearest conference room. I'll take it there." Walking into the turbolift, Scotty grasped the handle. "Deck 3," he said. What on Earth could Kabriengy want?

On Mallus...

"It appears that they are jamming all transmissions," Spock said, looking back to where the unknowns were transporting in. Ready to defend himself, he thumbed his phaser's setting to "heavy stun". He was therefore slightly surprised (though it would never show) when the bearded man and 5 heavily armed men in combat gear appeared, and then proceeded to fire at the location where the darts had come from. After a few short minutes, the darts stopped. The bearded man and his team then walked over to Spock and the other Vulcans.

Wow...great job..and you left what ever spock read a mystery...good going!!!! Can't wait to see what is going to happen next..

MISTRAL..you are next!

The leader of the combat team was wearing an old MACO uniform, a style that hadn’t been around since the earliest years of the Federation. Under his arm was an equally out-dated pulse rifle. The armor worn by the rest of his team was a hodge-podge of equipment from various eras. The only thing any of it had in common with the rest was that none of it was new. Holding up his right hand in a traditional Vulcan salute, the bearded man said,

“Greetings, T’Pring. Health and well-being to you.” T’Pring returned the gesture. “I am Vic Sorenson and these are my Wolves. We were hired by Starfleet Intelligence as a…deniable asset in case the situation here was more, ah, vigorous than expected. We are at your disposal.” He grinned through his facial hair. “I just hope we don’t end up in a position where we are disposed of!” A couple of his men snickered.

“You are mercenaries,” Spock stated flatly. Sorenson looked at him and blinked slowly, as though just becoming aware of Spock’s presence.

“I guess you could call us that,” Sorenson agreed affably. “We do get paid for our work. We are loyal to the Federation and its ideals, though, as loyal as you.” Several of the Wolves nodded at this.

“Enough!” T’Pring stated. “We need to aid Mr. Spock in finding his missing officers as I suspect they are heavily involved in my own group’s goals.”

“What makes you say that?” Sorenson asked.

“I am familiar with these particular officers,” T’Pring answered coolly, “If there is trouble to be found they are probably in the heart of it. Since we have already come under attack…” She shrugged.

“Ok,” said Sorenson cheerfully, “Lead on, m’lady!”

The party turned together and began to walk towards their presumed destination. Spock collapsed to the ground as his injured leg gave out on him. One of T’Pring’s companions knelt and tore his pantleg open to examine where the dart had struck him. The actual entry point was an ugly purple color while the surrounding portion of his leg was red and warm to the touch. After poking gently at it and evincing a slight wince from Spock the Vulcan man looked at T’Pring and said,

“An unknown poison. Logic suggests swift treatment is in order.”

“One of the missing officers is my ship’s Chief Medical Officer,” Spock said through gritted teeth, “If we can find him he should be able to treat me.”

T’Pring nodded. “Agreed. Mr. Sorenson, you and your men will accompany me in the search. T’Sharek and Visal, stay here with Commander Spock and see to his safety until we return.” She strode away, the mercenaries close on her heels.

OUR STORY CONTINUES
Robert Scorpio

Mr. Scott sat alone in the briefing room and listened intently as Admiral Kabriegny briefed him. The Admiral continued to speak.

“..and so, for those tactical reasons that I have just relayed to you, I must ask you to remove the Enterprise from the area in question, and head to Starbase 12 until further instructions are given to you.”

Scotty knew he was talking to an Admiral, but it didn’t matter. He still could not contain his anger.

“Are ye telling me,” Scotty said directly, “to abandon Captain Kirk, Mister Spock, Doctor McCoy and two security officers on some backwater world, with no idea as to their whereabouts?

The Admiral nodded. “That is exactly what I am ordering you to do Mister Scott. You are to leave the Mallus star system and head to Starbase 12.”

Scotty shook his head. “I do’na mind telling ye that these orders are daft.”

The look on Kabriegny’s face was starting to show shards of anger. “Do as you are ordered Mister Scott and I will forget your tone of voice and your implications.” The screen went blank

--
Moments later Scotty returned to the bridge. The others could tell on his face that the conversation with the Admiral did not go well.

“Did they order us out of the area?” Chekov asked.

“The Admiral accused me of having little respect for the Admiralty. I wonder where he got such and impression?” Scotty said with anger clawing at every word he used.

Uhura shook her head. “I just don’t understand it.” She said to Scotty. “But I just got the change of orders via the Admiral’s communication.” Uhura said with a tone of defeat in her voice.

“Go ahead and relay them to Mister Chekov.” Scotty said as he headed for the command chair. “We’ll just have to hope someone at Starfleet Command knows what they are doing.”

Chekov began to program the course change then, suddenly, he looked back at Scotty.

“Mr. Scott,” Chekov said with an air of suspicion in his voice, “these coordinates we have received from the Admiral are not for a heading to Starbase 12.”

Scotty shook his head. He stood up and followed Chekov to Spock’s science station. Chekov viewed the coordinates given to him, via the Admiral, in Spock’s viewer. Chekov stood straight after surveying the new coordinates.

“As I suspected,” Chekov said, “these coordinates are any thing but taking us to Starbase 12. See for yourself Mister Scott.”

Scotty leaned down and looked into the viewer. Slowly a grin began to grow on Scotty’s face.

“My respect for the Admiralty just went up about five hundred percent.” Scotty said with a slight laugh in his voice. “But if the Admiral was saying one thing and intending another that would suggest communications on the secured high-priority channel have been compromised.”

“Then what do we do?” Sulu asked. “What are these secret orders?”

Scotty pondered his next response, and then he looked at Mr. Chekov. “Go ahead and program in the course correction.” Then Mr. Scott looked to Sulu. “Now, Mr. Sulu, would you please accompany me to the shuttle-bay? I have a very interesting mission for you, if you would be so inclined.”

Sulu smiled. “I am inclined.”

Uhura made a faint whistle. “Well, boys,” she told them, “why do I feel we may all be up on charges after all this is through?”

There was no reason for Scotty to reply; she was right.

And now, the continuation...

Sulu and Scotty stood in the shuttlebay, near the Shuttlecraft Galileo, which was being specially outfitted for the mission Scotty had in mind. Sulu noticed that 2 Enterprise security personnel were standing nearby: male Bolian Chaxx, and female Caitian Tarovine S'Riss , as well as a young Lieutenant in Sciences Blue that he remembered was Revati Jendra. Scotty watched his engineers work on the shuttle, before turning to Sulu. "Lieutenant, your mission is simple: you will remain in orbit of Mallus, scan for the Captain, Spock and McCoy, and initiate a rescue. I've had Uhura send a message to the ships that Spock had talked to earlier, and they're concerned with their mission, but did say that they have 'personnel on the ground', and that once you use the shuttle's sensors to locate the Captain and the others, to go down and rendezvous with them. The security personnel are to make sure that nothing happens to you, and Lieutenant Jendra is to help with any injuries or medical situations. Any questions?" Shaking his head no, Sulu stood straighter. "Very well, lad. Get on your way, then." Sulu turned to leave, but stopped and looked back. "Mister Scott, where is the Enterprise going in the meantime?" "Alpha Majoris I. We're to meet with the Hood and the Proxima, in the hopes of bringing some equal footing to this situation. Kabriegny wants us to rendezvous there, update Captain Revere and Captain Ikeya, and then come back." Noticing that the rest of the crew had gone inside the Galileo, Scotty jerked his thumb in that direction. "Now, get on inside and go. Remember, lad, you're in command." With one last nod, Sulu went on inside the shuttle, sat down in the pilot's seat, and began going through the pre-flight checklist and engine warm up. About five minutes later the Galileo flew through the forcefield holding the atmosphere inside the shuttlebay, and powered up its impulse engines, heading for the planet. With one final look at the departing shuttle, Scotty headed back to the bridge.
