It must be wonderful to have a home near the beach and go whenever you like in good weather... *Sigh*
I hate all our tbbs LA peeps. *Sticks tongue out*![]()
t was Scarborough, mind you. Not the best place for a swim...
Yet none of them have said they did their toes daily in the ocean.
Pics or it didn't happen.I do have one embarrassing tale from the beach before I go as son is back and wants machine...
How to change out of a swimsuit on the beach.
Find reasonable sized breakwater to hide behind.
Dry out in the sun.
Slip strappy dress over head and wriggle out of suit.
Pull on knickers.
Insert bra into front of dress, slip on straps and fasten behind taking great care not to fasten it outside of the straps of the dress . Yes it was funny for some![]()
kind of strange to have this thread come up now. we took my partners niece out to walton on the naze tuesday just gone. they had a swim while i went up to my waist as i'm not a good swimmer then walked along the beach collected a few bits of follised wood and a couple of sharks teeth. then walked along the naze. it was one of the best days out i've had in a long while didnt need to spend much money and it was a dam bit cooler then in land.

Story of my life.^ Everything gets smaller and never tastes ad good as it used to.
Yes. They certainly do.^ Then you discover newer things, which are bigger and better, right?![]()
That's a great name.Had a day on the beach today. Why have I been sweltering here when in a hours drive I can be in jolly Bognor Regis?
Yikes, that reminds me of a time down at Hough's Neck when I was ten years old and the undertoe got me. Luckily my Uncle Mike was there to save me....Never. I've never felt safe going out far on beaches during low tide because I know how a turning tide can and does cut people off unexpectedly. Nor can I swim.
Did you ever go to Scarborough Fair...?It was Scarborough, mind you. Not the best place for a swim...
^ Not that I recall - I bought my parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme from the market...
