Apparently, Bob's Quiznos not Big Boy's restaurants... Well, technically Big Boy isn't a fast food place....

Huh. Not many Quiznos places around here; never would've guessed that.

We have lots of Quiznos around here, but I have no idea who this "Bob" guy is supposed to be.

BOB, as in Bob's Big Boy, the chain of diner-style restaurants with the statue of the chubby-faced little boy out front.

I've only seen that statue in front of Shoney's, never seen a "Big Boy" restaurant, so you understand the confusion there.

Bob's Big Boy was a chain which grew out of one original diner/burger place in Glendale, near Los Angeles. Most locations were in Southern California, with a few restaurants elsewhere in the state and in Arizona and Nevada. The "Big Boy" trademark and mascot character were also licensed out to a number of regional franchises in other parts of the U.S. and Canada, including Shoney's, Frisch's, Elby's and others.
