My thoughts exactly.
yeah I don't think 'tard' in the UK means quite the same as it does in the US . . . it's obviously a play on 'birthday card'
but still . . . bad move :P
Ah, so they're called rage faces. Thanks! I'd seen the meme around but wasn't sure where it came from.
Those are hilarious by the way.
Possibly. I was under the impression from discussing this with one of the (American) Mods around here that (re)tard is more of an insult here than in the States.
I'd just chalk it up to the copy editor missing the spelling of TARDIS and yes, having a play on card and thinking it's clever.
Given that Chard is in Deepest Darkest Cider country and it's most famous export is Blobby World, I wouldn't be too surprised if it was intended.

If you know European politicians this one might be somewhat funny too:
Finally finished this thread, what a brilliantly funny 20 minutes that was hahahaha
This is about the fourth iteration of this thread as far as I recall.
[ETA:]^ Is it that many already?
As per usual, this sequel doesn't really measure up to the original
I have only really started to spend more time on the forum lately so mist them all
^In the beginning it was all about the thread bombs -And we'd bomb the thread every time someone got it wrong. That was fun!
These days it's just about the funny images and ancient memes.
