I have to say I really enjoyed Archer in Catwalk and Dead Stop. Not that I don't enjoy him most of the time, but those two episodes showed the strong and caring leader he can be.

I would like to see more of Archer and Trip's friendship this season. Those two are great together and it's a shame their friendship has been put on the back burner this season.

wanted to just add my comments and say that "catwalk" was great. a little tension- a little humour- a little character insite. must admit "vanished" left a lot to be desired. would like to see more shows with the archer , trip, t'pol, phlox characters. giving episodes totally devoted to the ancillary crew(hoshi, mayweather,) is a waste in season two. most of the sci fi fan base is there to see bakula in every episode, playing an important role in the plot development- not as a "guest star". bakula is doing a great job as captain and i must admit i'm getting a real hoot out phlox's character.
keep up the good work- i agree- 43 minutes is just too short- how about a few less commercial and a little more of our fair captain and crew.

Just letting you know that I am enjoying Enterprise, particularly the stories concerning Archer. Scott Bakula is doing a wonderful job with his role. He's the best Captain of all the Star Trek series

Great to have you on board Mr. Sussman. Don't let the bashers scare you away, they mean well. :p

What I particularly liked about "Catwalk" was the crew interaction.

What I disliked most was the hackneyed plot (aliens invade ship). But I thought you wrote a nice variation on that popular theme.

To show even more positive support on Mr. Sussman's part, I'll just cut to the chase, and gush at ya! ;) /threads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I love ya! I love ya! I love ya!!!!

How's dat!??!

Yes, forty-seven cheers for Sussman and Strong! please please please keep writing more great eps like Catwalk and Dead Stop. We love the ensemble work. We love the Tucker/Reed interaction. We love Strong Intelligent Compassionate Archer (instead of Bumbling 12YO Idiot Archer).

So many of us spend time bitching about what's wrong with ENT, so let's have a BIG round of applause for the folks who do it RIGHT!

haven't caught up to Catwalk yet, but I love Enterprise. It wobbled a bit in the middle of Series 1 but on the whole it is a good strong Trek series, much better than DS9 which was a drag. All the characters are good, particularly Phlox and T'Pol, but the greatest of all is Scott Bakula as Jonathan Archer. To cast such a great actor in a role he can build on was visionary and Scott is doing a wonderful job. Long live Enterprise

Lordy, this thread's been dead and buried for 8 years! Nice to harken back to a time when people gushed about Enterprise, tho. :)
