All Female Crew ideas? I need opinions. Half are obvious. Several are tough like who's the Pilot?

Yea I think thats it. So many good officers left out. Would have loved to find places for Lefler and Saavik and T'Pol but the above is my dream team for an all-female crew. Would love for Ro to be higher on the pecking order too bit between Dax, Janeway and Shelby that's a powerhouse command trio.

I do have a soft spot for Sito as well.. unfortunately she's just not quite strong enough to be bridge crew in the face of talent from across the franchise.

I was thinking. Aren't you going to need a villian? Borg Queen seems two played out to me so how about the Carylon Seymour Romulan form "Face of the Enemy" and if you don't want to use her as a villian she could be a ambassador.

We'll take what we can get. The all ladies crew is still at a considerable disadvantage versus an all male crew.

I consider Data genderless unless someone wants a very philosophical discussion. He, Picard and Riker are juggernauts. What a three headed monster. Then, the Doctor puts them over the top versus the ladies.

Those are my thoughts so far, but you guys are giving me hope as this crew takes shape

Why is an all female crew at a disadvantage to an all male crew?

Well for one thing there are more male characters to choose from. Also the strength of the male characters mentioned, particularly Picard, Spock, Riker and Data if you include him. Considering the strength of the foursome of Dax, Janeway, Shelby and Ro I might be tempted to say they aren't at a disadvantage. However I think if you start looking at the tandem combinations the strongest female characters overlap a bit more then the male characters.

I'm going to have to side with Dax or Kira being better as XO though. Seven is amazing but she misinterprets things sometimes and doesn't really get nuances. She's too black and white and I'm not sure I'd trust her to be in charge because of that. She's a rockstar in astrometrics anyway.

Also Odo being "genderless goop" hahaha.

Good choice, she made quite an impact for such a short -lived character. Shame she gave up acting so early.

Opps I replied to your first post before reading your idea about Kira as xo. As usual, I don't know enough about Kira to contrast her to Seven. I love the idea of Seven in Astrometrics, but let's face it, she fits everywhere lol.

Teach me more about Kira. If Janeway, took one between the eyes in a real bloodbath, I'd feel very secure (as a crewmember) with Seven's nanosecond decision making. I really do understand her shortcomings though

Like Seven and B'Elanna, Kira wouldn't be very good as a diplomat
