Um...I think that ST got more aliens "right" than they "ruined" them. I mean, the Voyager Borg and Vulcans in DS9 and early ENT are really the only ones that spring to mind that really got thrown under the bus. Sure, some of the VOY aliens sucked and had no development, but they weren't "ruined" as they were never any good to begin with.
