Definitely. I have the first and second ones on the PC. Going to get this one for the PC or 360, still debating it. Probably the PC as Rebellion is a PC-primary company. Rebellion did the first one which IMO is still a great game to play even today.
Well I live in part of the world where the ultraviolent stuff in this title has been censored, so unless I get my hands on an import I'll give it a miss.
I'm leaning toward "Yes, getting it" but I'm going to wait for some reviews. All I'm looking for is a few "Yeah, it's pretty good" or better reviews from my trusted critics and I'll probably get it...
I plan on getting it. I'm a big fan of both Aliens and Predator. Loved the AvP PC fps games, the arcade game, and some of the comics. I just wished the AvP movies were better.
I'll probably get it at some point, since I was a big fan of the PC games and also really enjoyed the comics (though not the dreadful movies). But it will be a while - I have a stack of games that are waiting to be played (Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3 GOTY, IL2 Sturmovik, CODMW2) so AvP will probably be a "Platinum Hit" by the time I get to it.
A demo has been confirmed with ony the date still left up in the air but many rumors point to this February 4th for 360. PS3 demo unknown though could be out same day with no word on any demo for PC
I need to try it out for PC before I buy it. In the past when I have wanted a PC game with no demo I download it to test it that it will run then after a 10-15 minute play uninstall it then buy it. A demo for PC would save alot of bother
Just had my first go on it. Not bad. I played as the Marine, and came second on the board (14 kills, the top guy got 18 playing as a Predator).
Thought the graphics were ace, and the atmosphere was spot on - especially when that motion sensor starts beeping...
Bit miffed that there's no aiming on it, so you just have to rely on hip-firing, but maybe that's just cause I'm too used to FPS games like COD and Killzone.
Played Multiplayer demo on Steam...It seems okay, but I'm not in a multiplayer shooter mood these days. Is this game's bread and butter the multiplayer aspect? Any word on how large the single player side of the game is?
