I put up three pages of text-free artwork by JK Woodward from the upcoming Alien Spotlight: Klingons comic that I wrote on my blog. Take a gander!

Having been the editor who commissioned this book, I can tell you that Keith's script is every bit as good as this art makes it look. This is really going to be a phenomenal read.

You guys have really knocked it out of the park...nice job, Keith!

Awesome :techman:Thanks for the preview artwork. I've dug the rest of the Alien Spotlight issues so far, but this one looks like it may be the best yet. If each story is from a different point in Kang's life (or is it the same story, but told from three different periods in Kang's life?), will we get actual dates? Over how many years do the various stories come from?

looks great, I will be on board for this one. Mr. Harris. Please get KRAD to do more comics!!!!!!!!. I remember something about redshirts or something

Wow, that is some awsome artwork. Do we know those insectoid aliens yet?

Looks interesting. At first I thought those were Starfleet vessels but see they aren't. Should be very interesting to read once it comes out. Can't wait.

Are those Klingons carrying...pillows?
No, bags of food and other supplies. It makes sense once you see the words. :D

Okay, the structure is like so: each of the three parts has a frame where Kang tells a story.

The first part's frame is right after "Errand of Mercy." Kang tells the crew of the Voh'tahk a story from when he was a junior officer on another ship. (BTW, several of the Voh'tahk crew were introduced in Blood Will Tell.)

The second part's frame is in 2310. Kang tells Mara a story of a mission he just finished.

The third part's frame is shortly before "Blood Oath." Kang tells the Albino's dying wife (whom he rescued) a story from Kahless's time.

Andrew is not in a position to hire me to write more Trek comics. The person who is in that position is quite aware of my desire to write more, however. :)

No, they're original to this comic.

Just saw the preview over at TrekMovie (looks amazing! :techman:), and apparently those guys are called Fortrans.

I can hardly wait for the Trek/BSG crossover where those guys meet the Lords of COBOL...

The art looks wonderful. That third style is simply beautiful. IDW's Star Trek line has been top notch.

This book hit the shelves today. IDW's Trek books have been pretty hit or miss for me, but this was definitely a hit!

Just got the book yesterday, and read it right away. Excellent job KRAD :techman:. Hopefully you , along with some of your fellow trek-lit authors get a chance to do more comics. The art was even better than you led us to believe! My favorite story of the three was probably the one with the warriors of Kahless fighting the *:evil:evil:evil:* warlord. Awesome stuff :klingon:
