There can't be any Human contact with the Alien species, otherwise it would contradict the original Alien.

The aliens will be behind a cloak on their ship and their famous line will be cut short

Instead of "We are the xenomorphs etc" it will start with

" .....We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own"

The studio has hired Jon Spaihts to write a prequel that has Ridley Scott attached to return as director.

I really think any future Alien film needs to just go completely H.R. Giger in the art department. His artwork is absolutely gloriously sick and needs to be given an even more immersive depiction on the silver screen (this is important to me).

The specifics of the plot interest me less. Space jockey, prequel, sequel, side story told concurrently to the original film, my interest in Alien as a 'universe' has sort of been destroyed by the actual existence of films that make Alien and the Predator films in-canon of each other. Not that I dislike Predator per se, but... no. Just no.

Press me and I'd shrug and suggest something more overtly Lovecraftian, maybe, for the story. It'd fit pilfering the Necromonicon for film design-work (seriously this needs to happen).
