Ha, I knew Garak would not disappoint! ;-D Andrew Robinson is still fantastic.
This is actually amazing!!!
I was a little let down a brain-addled Garak didn't confess his undying love for Bashir, but this was a much more appropriate ending.
as he wasn't REALLY brain-addled, I can forgive it! :-)
Some nice news: https://www.trektoday.com/content/2020/08/garak-bashir-romance-tonight-at-sid-city-social-club/
Thanks to this horrible heatwave, with 30 degrees Celsius in my place at night, I'll probably be up to watch it live.
I keep hearing about this heatwave in the uk. Obviously Scotland doesn’t count since we just get rain.
This romance story sounds hilarious. What happened to Ezri?
I'd love to see Nicole, Colm and Wallace Shawn show up in future stories. I know it'd be a stretch to get the retired Grand Nagus in there but hey, that's what Star Trek is about! Getting people into improbable situations!
Ezri dies and Bashir falls in love with Ken (the new host) Dax and they get in trouble with the Symbiont Commission because of Reassociation, signaling that Bashir can be into men. But we already knew that.
The new story isn't written by the same person as the last four, meaning it's a different continuity.
Well don't keep all the rain for yourself, send some over here
If you include StO and the second Renegades film, apart from Avery Nicole and Colm are the only series regulars not to reprise their roles in a post-finale story
I'm not in the UK, but now I want to move to Scotland!
Did anyone catch it? I hope they'll put it up on YT.
I'll be attending the Friday meeting (encore performance) and will report back. I'll be surprised if it doesn't make it onto YouTube, though. They seem pretty good about uploading highlights from each meeting, and all four episodes of "Alone Together" were uploaded within a week of the live performances.
Re: the final episode of Alone Together.
Andy looks amazing—his color is terrific. Sid didn’t look so good, probably the lighting. I hope.
Ah yes, I think that's 9.00 pm in my place, so I'll try to watch it.
Damn, I couldn't make it in time.
But, from their Twitter account:
*We will post "Little Achievements" on YouTube as soon as possible. We ran into some technical issues but have knowledgeable ppl helping pull it together. **If you'd like to sign up to chat with Sid next week, go to http://sidcity.net/guestlist.
It was really cute. Another "25 years later" scenario, but decidedly more shippy.
Here it is:
