Alan Thicke has passed away at 69

Baby, rain or shine...all the time. We got each other, sharin' the laughter and love.

Ugh, 2016. Have you no mercy? :(

Although, dying while playing hockey is SUCH a Canadian way to go, isn't it?

RIP Alan. Loved watching him as dad in Growing Pains, and the Not Quite Human movies. Will be missed. So surprised.

RIP... I am SO ready for this year to be over... Honestly sounds like something you'd see in a movie or tv show... His poor son. :( :(

I enjoyed his guest appearance on The Love Boat, opposite Michelle Phillips as his ex-wife and Fred Willard as her new fiancé.

Thicke's character was initially thrilled at the prospect of no more alimony payments. Then he inadvertently discovered that Willard was a chaser, and intended to continue chasing after the wedding. "I'm getting married. Not involved."

After agonizing to Doc, Gopher and Issac about what should he do, Thicke comes up with a plan. He maneuvers things so that Phillips learns the truth by seeing Willard in another woman's arms. Afterward he consoles her, saying that it had felt good taking care of her again. When the ship arrives back in Los Angeles, they've decided to move in together.

ZOMBIE!

I'm watching a new episode of Fuller House, and there he is.

Possibly his last gig?

Candace might have hung out with her brother Kirk a lot in the 80s on the Growing Pains set, and they've been family ever since?
