Nice video. The more I see the uniforms the more I like them. It is reminiscent of so many fan designs I have seen over the years and Vance's uniform really looks great.
Still think the asymmetric jacket hem was a pointless case of being quirky for the sake of it.

So, according to this week's episode, Starfleet is trying to keep the fact that Disco comes from the past classified. If that's the case, why haven't they switched to the 32nd century uniforms? How do you explain a crew wearing uniforms from over nine hundred years ago without revealing they are in fact from nine hundred years ago?

I haven’t seen the episode yet but I did look at the screencaps. So there are two ‘intermediate’ uniforms, but why is the one officer is wearing a TNG commbadge? Is that supposed to be a uniform that existed between the TMP movie uniforms and the TNG season 1 uniforms?
Hard to say. It has elements of the 23rd CenturyDISCO uniforms on the shoulders and sides, but also elements and colors like the some uniforms from the late third millennium.
The holo program had been long deteriorating after over a century of operation. Was probably just an artifact of the breakdown. I wouldn’t read too much into it.
