Agents of Shield and the Mirror Universe

So I lost track of watching Agents of SHIELD around halfway through season 3. The show tends to dip in the middleground of their 22 episode seasons which are split up into two mini arcs but one overall story. Well, I binged it and caught up a good 25 episodes to find that they really upped the pacing and storytelling.

Season 4 is now split up into 3 self contained arcs with some threads continuing on through each arc (or 'pod' as the show's staff calls them) and with a new later air time, the show has become darker and more intense. I could not believe how much the quality of the pacing and writing increased so quickly!

Season 4 has been a blast, and I caught up just in time to start the third 'pod' this past week and have been delighted to find that Agents has its own version of the Mirror Universe!

Down is up! Dogs and cats are friends! Good guys are bad guys with EVIL haircuts! Hydra rules the world! For me, Mirror Universe episodes of Trek were always a delight and subsequent sci-fi series that have used the trope have always been fun in their own ways, but Agents have taken it to a new level with an entire pod taking place in their version of this evil alternate reality, and it is GREAT.

Anyone else watching it? Anyone else DYING to see the next episode?
