Welcome to Age of FarmVille by way of Fat Princess.

Thank God for Civilization V.

My favourite reaction post to date:

Oh god oh god oh god. What a disaster.

Fuck you, Microsoft. That’s all I got. And whoever was the friend that showed Farmville to the idiot suit that greenlighted this abortion. fuck you, too.

NOW I might start to believe that PC gaming is dying. This POS might very well be the antichrist of PC games

I love the graphics, they look beautiful.
I'm not sure about the rest of the game, personally I would prefer a standard RTS but I signed up for the beta to give it a try.

Blech. It's a very generic brand of 'cute', the same trap that IO Interactive's ninja game (I don't recall the exact title) fell into. Comparing the aesthetic to Fat Princess does a disservice to that game. If you're looking for strategy with a charming/colourful aesthetic, try Settlers 7 or Tropico 3.

I could go into everything wrong with this, but there are only so many atoms in the universe.

I'll just summarize:

So this is what being raped feels like.
