After you notify the mod.

Notifying the mod can leave a bit of a mess in its wake.

I mean, you just notified, you sit back and let out a sigh because you got it all done and out of the way and you're sitting there with a big mess in your hands.

What are you supposed to do with the mess?

How does it leave a mess for the notifier? The process is both easy and orderly. (One click, a selection, an explanation, and another click, and you're finished.) The unfortunate moderators are most likely to be stuck with a complicated situation, not the poster in any way.

I don't think he's referring to the act of "notifying the mod" in quite the same way as you Cicero. ;)

When I first opened this, I was tempted to stealth-ban Trekker for the topic and overused euphemism.

Now I'm tempted to stealth-ban Cicero for his reply.

How can I want to ban one for using the dumb term, and want to ban the other for using it properly?

I'm so confused.

Oh. Right, it's used as some sort of euphemism. I always forget that.

It might be as well. Whenever I remember that it's also a euphemism, I feel like signing off the board.

Now I'm wondering what "stealth-ban" would be a euphemism for, and all of the answers I come up with kind of creep me out.

I eat it. Sometimes, though, there's just too much...

I don't notify mods because I figure they'll see whatever's going on eventually anyway, no matter how sticky the siuation is.

Wait a minute -- you were talking about the other "notify the mod". My mistake.

Ban em both, it's the only way to be sure.

It's simple: After you "notify the Mod," you "stealth ban" and then "sign off the board." Easy as 1-2-3.

And if you're feeling adventurous - "Multiple-Postings" followed by a "Friendly".

Ahhhhhh.

:D

To quote FrontLine:

Ban 'em all! Let God sort 'em out!
