Even if it was a disappointing last game, I'm glad for him that he's leaving while he has his health, both physical and mental, with him. A class act that I have long respected, he's going to be missed.

God Bless You, Kurt Warner.

And Thanks for one of the best sports memories of my life.

:techman:

All the best to him. He had a great run and is leaving with an excellent record and apparently good health, not a luxury many former NFL players have.

The man is a class act, a feared competitor and someone who has their priorities in life straight. There aren't enough people like him in sports today. I wish him nothing but the best.

Farewell to one of the greats. Imagine what his numbers would be if he'd come up through the draft.

Goodbye Kurt, you were a joy to watch. And my wife thinks you are really hot.

I can totally see him going the Dungy route and using his position to get involved in philanthropic stuff.

He just seems like such a good guy.

“Here’s a guy that believed, that worked hard. Although things didn’t always go in his favor, he continued to press through, and with his faith in himself and his faith in God, he was able to accomplish great things.”
- Kurt Warner, who announced his retirement yesterday after 12 seasons as an NFL quarterback, on what he wants his legacy to be.

I'll miss Kurt Warner. It was always a joy to watch a quarterback who was supremely competent and who had an unparalelled ability to make a long pass look routine.
