I think it was more the "street" part he was referring to. "Street Chocolates" sounds like something a shifty-looking Swiss guy might sell behind a dumpster in a back alley on the wrong side of the tracks in Zurich.

I can't believe that Christmas is only nine days away.

Me neither. I put my decorations up yesterday -- and a week later than I normally do -- yet it still feels inappropriate somehow.

I think people have cut back on christmas spirit and feeling festive this year, you know, with the recession. But I expect christmas morning will still feel all magical and lovely, because it always does

I spend Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve with my in laws.... they live down the street. I could walk to their house in about 5 minutes.

I buy them after Christmas, they are always at least 50% off. Last year's set is OK, but this year's set is just terrible. There are about 3 pieces per day. A cat in a "tree", 4 pieces? Bad!
