The Trouble with Tribbles character Admiral Fitzpatrick actor Ed Reimers has died

the actor who told television viewers "you're in good hands with Allstate" for decades has died in upstate New York. Ed Reimers was 96.
appeared in shows including an episode of the original "Star Trek" series.

I don't know when he retired, but I seem to remember him still doing Allstate voiceovers on TV in the last 20 years, maybe even more recently than that.

96 years old. Wow. May we all live as long and prosperous.

His "bit" is one of the few I remember from the classic blooper reel. "And remember, Captain...(somebody off-screen tosses him a tribble)...you're in good hands with Tribbles."
