And was Iman ever considered for the role?
As I recall, people wanted Angela Basset at the time. Don't remember anyone mentioning lobbying for Iman . . ..
I used to think actress/model Beverly Johnson would make a great Storm, but that was based more on her height and looks than her talent, so I'm not sure if she really would've worked out.
Anyway, I think Alexandra Shipp, who's playing the young Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse, is absolutely gorgeous. She might even be more beautiful than Halle Berry, which is a sentence I didn't think I'd ever write. I just hope she's a better fit for the role as well.
