Source: Deadline While I'm sure a lot of people here will remember Conway from his role as Kahless the Unforgettable in TNG's "Rightful Heir," he also had a lengthy career in movies and TV, as well as onstage. Two of my personal favorites from his résumé were as Buster Kilrain in Gettysburg and Air Force General Curtis LeMay in Thirteen Days (which also included a number of other Trek actors including Bruce Greenwood, Stephen Culp, Boris Lee Krutonog, Bill Smitrovich, Ed Lauter, and Len Cariou).
He was also good as the crazy drunk mailman in Funny Farm with Chevy Chase. Rest in peace Mr. Conway.
Can't we all just died from old age? I just watched that TNG episode too. A favorite of mine. Worf was very DS9 like Work in it. He did a fine job.
I was always a little disappointed that he never played Kahless again on DS9; I don't know if they couldn't think of a storyline that he'd fit into well, or Conway was busy with other work, or both.
Have to admit that for a long time after seeing him in DS9 I thought he was Kevin Conroy of Batman fame. But he definitely made an impression in that role and many others. RIP.
The difference between the Kahless of Kirk's imagination, so lithe and sneaky, and the big bear that Conway portrayed, was striking.
