    All of those except VOY are official CBS/Paramount abbreviations. CBS is the only entity using VGR.

    I see VGR and just think of the word Vigor. I’m glad we’ve all mutually decided against it... :lol:

    I recall in the days of GEnie and Usenet, and the commencement of TNG, the commonly accepted acronym for the original "Star Trek" was STC (as in the days of New Coke and Coke Classic, hence "Star Trek Classic").

    The animated series was commonly STA, long before the current TAS. That change took me ages to get used to.

    Since Van Citters' tweet, I have used VGR, not VOY.

    Huh? The film is "Star Trek Into Darkness". No "The".
