Accessorizing Worf

When he changed uniform color, the original sash didn't mesh well with the new color. Along the same reasoning as puting Data, who should be science officer in yellow and calling him chief of ops.

but no in-universe explanation (unless Starfleet is overly concerned with fashion) ???

I'm trying to remember "All Good Things..." -- was Worf shown in the old-style spandex red uniform with his old gold sash in that?

The reason mentioned could be the in universe explanation; but it's not starfleet concerned with fashion, but Worf himself; he didn't like the "dress" uniforms, so I think he would have an opinion on how his sash looked.

We could say that Worf as the eldest brother should have had the silvery, more elaborate baldric and that it was given to him by Kurn when they met in "Sins of the Father"

The hitch in that logic is that he was wearing the new baldric a whole season prior to that episode.

Most likely explanation was that his first sash was an antique heirloom, the newer one was fresh off the replicator with a pattern direct from Q'onos.'

Bigger question is why did the accessories ON the sash change?
