Absolute Anger! 10TH FC Tardis Frustration!

Who did you order it from? I'm only aware of one Canadian retailer selling DW merchandise and their prices are so absurd it's cheaper for me to order from the US or UK, even with shipping costs, than it is from a retailer that's 90 minutes away.

As for my comment about cardboard, it was mainly directed at the lack of finished walls on both versions of the Tardis playsets. The lack of inserts in the classic Doctor's Tardises doesn't bother me that much since it's easy to do yourself. But either way, yeah, it's cheap of them.

Id personally like a cheap version of the non electronic one they have in the christmas set. Doesnt seem like anyone is Ebaying those, tho the seperate figures can be found.

too bad.. it would be cool to buy a loose non-electric police box to paint red for fun and create your own Tardis..


i broke down and paid 65.00 for the 10th doctor's tardis... had to find a Canadian online store.. thanks canucks!!!

Ouch... Ill get the 11th one for 20 some odd dollars because the light up isnt as needed to me (see my previous post).

I only have 2 doctor figures, 7 and 11, and an Amy Pond on the way. (They need to make ACE!!!)

I got mine from ABCtoy4me... and actually they are US based, I could have sworn it was in Canada, but I searched online at sooo many places it was a bit confusing in the end when I finally decided to purchase.... sorry..(still love those canuck stores though) its got some cheap figures, but most are cheaper on ebay.. overall I have seen MISB 10th doctor flight control Tardises online for much more then what I paid, so I am okay with it.. too bad it's so expensive..

I like the fact that it has the extra lighting, and even if it is the older version I still prefer it to the newer one. when on display at night the extra features just makes the ship seem whole.. the Matt Smith Tardis in the show even glows, so for me having the cheaper version with blacked out windows and no interior lighting with a crummy Tardis interior insert is just not an option, not while I can obtain a better version.. sure it's more costly, but worth every penny in my opinion..Heck I used to be a Transformers collector... talk about extreme prices!!

well I have no Doctor who figures as yet.. I want only a few sets.. just so that I am not over loaded with them... space is an issue with me, and I am not trying to go back to storing figures like I used to..

But having an extremely cool Tardis is worth the price..it is afterall the centerpiece of the Dcotor who series.. so for me, it is worth it to have the best..

you don't know how many times I receive a fast food order wrong at a particular establishment, in drive-thru..having to park and go inside...

with a loud shout to the pimple faced teenager behind that counter picking their nose at the vat of frying oil and chips(fries)..

and there i shout....(holding up the meatless burger. and wrapper)

"Absolute anger!!" so yes... I do use such phrases..and aptly so.

how the hell do you let a big-mac go out with no meat on it..?? it has 2 patties??!! you would have had to put the condiments on it?? did you not notice the main ingredient absent?? and then... you had to wrap it in paper?? WTF???

and then to do it not once... but on three separate occasions??

You'd probably get a better reaction if you calmly but firmly explained the situation rather than yelled at a kid who may not have even been the one who made the mistake.

Uhhhhhh.....it was a joke....I never went in, but i did call on the phone and have gotten 4 burger meals free which I have yet to take advantage of..(always someone who has to suggest some level headed response isn't there)

so I just got my tardis.. paid a total of 79.00 for the 10th doctor's Tardis...

yeah no, they just sent me the F#$KING 11TH!! WTF!!! I did NOT want that version, had I, I could have bought it somewhere else for cheaper, like by half! they had 2 listings on their website.. 1 said 11th doctor's tardis, the other said flight control.. they deleted the other, and modified the listing to say 11th doctor's flight control, but they kept the 10th flight control pic..

this website is shiesty..I do not recommend purchasing any doctor who merchandise from ABCTOYS4ME.com..

Paypal is handling my claim..'

I am, I sent a message to the company, I want them to pay for the return shipping charges, and maybe they made a mistake (I am giving them the benefit of the doubt..I seriously just got it like 30 mins ago) maybe they just sent me the wrong one, but the changes made to the website listing, post purchase, makes me wonder though...

Mistakes do happen.

May I suggest, for future orders, deal with Mike's Comics. Most of us here recommend him. And he's easy to find. Just google "Mike's Comics". The website is very basic but his prices and customer service are pretty much impossible to beat.
