First, allow me to preface my post with completely useless info on the origins of my Star Trek fandom. I grew up in a log cabin in Indiana, and color TV had yet to come to the hoosier state. Heck, I was excited to hear that electricity had made it to Arkansas finally! So I caught my first episode of Star Trek on the old talking box when I was 3 and have been fixated on Gene Roddenberry's creative genius ever since.
So here comes Jar Jar and his 30 to 40 Year old Teenagers to run the Enterprise.
This morning before I went off to work, which is merely nothing more than a simple barn and a sheep named Betsy, I was reading the latest issue of "Nacelles Monthly" and was absolutely appalled by Abrams disrespect for the franchise and its billions of fans worldwide. Just look at this quote:
The story was just, if I may say so myself, amazing. I was reading the script that Alex and Bob put together, and it was a Star Trek story that just sucked me in. There is action, romance, comedy, and most importantly a lot of plot. I think the fans are going to go crazy over how good of a movie this.
Let me just reiterate that for all of us obviously "crazy fans" out there who probably missed this one.

Now, how dare he insult the fanbase this way, aka biting the fan that feeds him. I have read loud and clear what he has said about us and will not stand for it any longer! I have put up enough with the marketing that is obviously telling me not to come to this film, now I have to put up with Abrams making obviously slanderous remarks about me. I am ticked off beyond belief! From my experience in not seeing the film, I already know it will suck, despite what those who saw it say.
Therefore, I have decided to boycott the new film until May 8th and I leave the theater, and will only lift it the next time I can scrounge up enough welfare money to see the next viewing. So Jar Jar,
TAKE THAT! You obviously aren't going to get my money during the periods that I am not viewing your little "90210 Dawson Hills in Space Wars" film.
