About Time 8

I found out last week that there was finally another addition in Tat Wood's About Time series (this time co-authored with Dorothy Ail), which I found out only because of the most recent Doctor Who Magazine.

Has anyone read it yet?

As I've done with the previous volumes, I jump around, focusing on the stories that I enjoyed the most. The analysis section of "Human Nature" noted many stories that the episode borrowed from, but I was especially intrigued by one source: Neil Gaiman, particularly Sandman and Neverwhere. Considering how much I love his works and that those two are my favorites of his, I was surprised that I didn't make the connections that Wood and Ail pointed out. Connections such as holding one's consciousness, The Doctor's mythological revenge, the vocabulary of Tim's aria, among others. It's discussions such as this why I enjoy reading this series so much.

I noticed on the "Also available from Mad Norwegian Press" page that volume 9 (series 4 and the specials) is already listed, but I didn't seen anything on their website or at Amazon. Does anyone have an idea when it's coming out? Allyn?

Ah, well. I did notice at the end of the book, it says sometime in 2018 (when it was published back in November 2017) so that's something at least. Better than another six year wait.
