Did I actually read in the description of one show,
"A unique legal drama.."
Yeah right!
"A unique legal drama.."
Yeah right!

To save face. Otherwise, their entire 2009-10 lineup is a failure. But where they've scheduled it, they've pretty much doomed V anyway. Why they would plant to bring back a marginal piece of crap like V is puzzling.
We're talking about ABC, not HBO!No Ordinary Family sounds like the superpowers, especially the teen girl's, are metaphors for sexual desirability/availability/activity. The parents' are the key to the revival of their marriage's passion. The boy (the Brainiac, I believe) will combine supposd prepubescent nonsexuality with otherwise adult maturity as a built in commentary (or denial) of the theme. If this is what the show really turns out to be, concentrating on the family personalities will get extremely limited.
The superpowers won't be a metaphor for anything, unless you decide to imagine that it's there. Go ahead make stuff up in your own mind if network TV bores you that badly. I'll be happy if they manage to create interesting characters for the show. Any story lives or dies on the characters, not on metaphors for blah-blah-blather.We use essential cookies to make this site work, and optional cookies to enhance your experience.
