ABC Draws fire for new comedy.....

We watched it. The lead actor is better than the show. His friend, Angel, the second guy would not be hitting on the woman interviewing him even if he were dressed in a suit.

However, there was one good line at the end: Angel, the womanizer back in mens clothes, goes up to a hot woman at a bar. You expect him to hit on her. Instead, he asks how come she has no visible panty lines. She says it's because she's not wearing underwear. You expect him to hit on her. Instead, he says (thinking of his recent problems cross-dressing), "Well that doesn't help me," and walks away. We laughed at the unexpectedness of this.

Since we're talking gender-benders don't forget White Chicks.
In which the Wayans brothers only managed to look grotesque in drag and whiteface.

Heck, Lon Chaney Sr. impersonated an old woman for most of "The Unholy Three." Ditto for Lionel Barrymore in "The Devil Doll."
And Arthur Lucan played the title character in a whole series of Old Mother Riley movies. There’s a long British stage tradition of the “pantomime dame,” a man dressed up as a dowdy middle-aged or elderly woman (think Monty Python’s “pepperpots”), which is a bit different from what we Americans think of as a “drag queen.”

Ugh.

This show is just... Terrible.

It's not even trying to be funny or to make sense.

Here's a question... To pose as a woman it's natural to assume that the men are shaving their legs. Does the guy's wife not notice his shaved legs when they sleep together or see one another naked?

Maybe he told her he’s taken up bicycle racing.
