More ABC comedies set to fail. ABC is going to be in serious trouble when The Middle and Modern Family have people start leaving the show in a few years.

However I do like Scandal at 9 Thursday and ABC trying to do something with the 8pm hour.

Start leaving? I already gave up on Modern Family.

There's nothing I'm interested in at all on this schedule with the exception of the two Marvel shows. Hell, very little I'm interested in on NBC and FOX too.

Next season I'm watching Parks & Rec, Archer, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Gotham, Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter. And that's it.

ABC's scripted shows cancelled in the 2013-2014 season:

Drama

The Assets - 1 season
Betrayal - 1 season
Black Box - 1 season (not officially announced yet, but surely done)
Killer Women - 1 season
Lucky 7 - 1 season
Mind Games - 1 season
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland - 1 season

Comedy

Suburgatory - 3 seasons
The Neighbors - 2 seasons
Back in the Game - 1 season
Mixology - 1 season
Super Fun Night - 1 season
Trophy Wife - 1 season

can't speak to the new stuff just yet, but absolutely nothing on the outgoing list I'll miss. Wonderland i watched a little of, but lost interest in fast (despite liking OUAT and sticking with that one). The rest? meh...

I meant the actors. There are a ton of characters on Modern Family and what happens when they start leaving?

I'll watch Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, but I'm really on the fence about coming back to Castle. The last two seasons have been mediocre at best, but I hate not finishing a show that I started.
I've watched a handful of episodes of The Goldbergs and it's not a bad show, and it gives me my childhood nostalga fix. But I don't know if it's worth being more than just an occasional viewer.

Well.. Modern Family has gone from must see TV to mediocre and I may check out Agent Carter, but I don't have my hopes up.

I really hope this is the final season for Castle. I still like the characters, but it lacks the snap of its first three seasons, and this season's cliffhanger was really bad.

Really bad would be a step up from what we got.

Resurrection is getting 15-18 episode, or 13-15 episodes, I can't remember. If the ratings keep going the way they are it won't get any more.

Its ratings were pretty stable for its last four episodes (2.2, 2.1, 1.9 and 2.1 in the demo respectively) and it's easily winning its timeslot. Although it will likely suffer a sophomore slump, as most shows do, it has a reasonably good cushion in the ratings for its second season.
