A Vulcan Vahklas Class Ship Mesh....

Here is a mesh of the Vahklas Class Vulcan ship made for me by Adam Kopala? I have a scene where an entourage of Vulcan Delegates arrive at the Mars Colony, and since I am re-imagining the Vulcans as a very dark, and mysterious new race, almost Raith-like, I wanted to go with a very menancing looking ship of that era and the Vahklas class ship is just the ticket....

What do you think?....

I really like this.

Are there anymore 22nd Century Vulcan Ships hanging around here somewhere?
Or Andorian ships for that matter, one thing I thought Enterprise did pretty well was define a distinct look for the ships of the Coalition members.

Still makes me wonder if the respective Founders of the Federation continue to operate their ships of their own designs for their respective planetary defense or trade fleets...

You guys probably don't care a whole lot, but in the SFB continuity, old national ships are, in some cases, refitted and kept around as national guard units.

Still makes me wonder why the Federation never used design elements from the Coalition members. The whole saucer thing bugged me more than the idea of the NX-01 being based off of the Akira.

But, I digress.. the model looks absolutley awesome. Looks almost like I could reach out and grab it. This was my favorite of the Vulcan designs on Enterprise, and I was disappointed that they didn't show it more often.

I never realized before how much it looks like Darth Maul's ship from The Phantom Menace. Great work, though. I'm jealous. It must me nice to have some talent.

i can definatly sympathis with that. as this is not my handiwork, nor my design, and other than to say the who, what, when, and where, to the artist, and they comply and with great firousity and verve and always always surprise me with magnamous beauties such as these, is the extent of my involvement. but on the other hand, i too have my talents and things i am good at, as i am sure, do you.
