A Voyager Episode Review Podcast - V'Ger Please!

To each their own. I never cared for her and thought every episode she was featured in was very weak and her acting was terrible. With the exception of Darkling. The Doctor saves it.

I completely agree that her interplay with the Doctor is the best part of her scenes. It's criminal how underused the EMH is in the early seasons.

If it's going to be trashing the show, no thanks. Best of luck to you
You're missing out if you have chosen such a simplistic reason not to listen to this show. They trash it, but in a way that only someone who loves Star Trek would do. Because of their love, because they know how much more Star Trek can be, they lovingly take apart episodes that completely abandon those key ideas of the Star Trek universe. Plus it's really funny.

Except liking Voyager isn't something to be ashamed of or feel "guilty" about, so your logic fails.

And I don't expect you to get much traction here by advocating otherwise.
If you people are so precious about your Voyager show that your superfandom can't take a little ribbing, well, that's pretty lame. The show is funny and it's obvious the hosts love Star Trek. You probably like Mission Log. Ugh.

That's a matter of opinion. There are episodes that I skip but even the worst of Voyager is not that bad. Elogium for example has some cheesy overacting from Lien, but some wonderfully touching scenes with Neelix talking about being a dad
Maybe it had some touching scenes, but none of that episode was Star Trek. It just happened to occur in space.

So, DS9 had Profit and Lace. The original had The Way to Eden. All the series have bad episodes. I don't feel guilty for liking Voyager and in fact, there was a whole lot to like about the show. For one, the characters felt more like a family than any other series.
This I agree with wholeheartedly. They did feel like a family, and that was one of the great things about the show. Lost, alone, with only new-found friends to help you out.

^ I think you're overexaggerating Voyager's flaws, which seems to be typical, especially amongst people for whom it's their least favorite Trek series.

I've said enough, though, and will move on.
Love your Bablyon 5 quote, but you really are missing out if you're not listening to this podcast. It's easily one of the top 3 Voyager podcasts right now, along with The Greatest Gen and The People Vs. Star Trek Voyager.
