A very confused Enterprise concept

judexavier, I was just checking through my old subscriptions and was wondering if you ever took this any further?

Oh, on paper, nothing on the PC. Been crazy last few months, long-story-short, rental house had a tree fall on it (!), owners letting it go back to bank, had to move out, at the same time both of us downsized, so looking for extra work and better housing, all while "regular" life keeps rearing it's ugly head...
and I was just starting to play with 3D, dammit. :) Hopefully by May all will be more stable.
Thanks Johnnymuffintop for posting it back up. I may have pruned too much from photobucket last visit.

....it never rains but it pours.

Ohhh ya! I remember seeing that now!(way back when there was talk of a ''reboot'') I've always been impressed by this design, I still prefer the ''NU-ENT'' But only becuase I haven't seen this beauty in 3-D!

Just discovered this thread.

The image that everyone is chatting about is gone, so now it looks like a vaporware thread.

Oh that SUCKS so bad, man. I hope your personal stuff gets sorted out quickly.

And I hope you get a chance to revisit this. I happen to like it a bit more than the XI-prise. :)

I like how subtly judexavier evolved the MJ drawing into this concept.

The only thing I think I dislike are the grilles on the nacelles - they always felt a little awkard, from the way they flow from the angled bussard 'hoods.' It might have been better had they started evenly after the angled hood. (It's hard to explain what I mean without drawing it but hopefully you get the jist.)

Yeah, I know what you mean.I don't think he was finished detailing that area, anyway.
