I'm in full agreement with my fellow commentators. This was an excellent wrap up to an excellent story. You have very aptly handled a massive cast and numerous intertwined storylines and concluded them both satisfactorily while at the same time maintaining a number of ominous issues which will most certainly resurface again.
One point I liked which hasn't been mentioned is that you avoided an overly agreeable disposition between these three very different captains. They may have developed some newfound respect for each other but all three were just too different to come out of this as close friends. You've handled that very well.
A few nitpicks: Have another look at your paragraph headings in the beginning. I think they're repeating themselves. Also you referred to a building as doomed, I'm not sure if you didn't mean domed instead.
