A Tribute

Well, I composed this poem a couple months ago, and after I joined the TrekBBS, I wanted to post it. So, here it is. Enjoy.

Gliding among the stars
An odyssey of discovery begins
Fueled by the desire to explore
The mystery deepens
Planets, nebulae hanging in space
Secrets they hide from view
Probing, trying to solve the case
Answers as fleeting as the morning dew
Space, the final frontier we know
Where no man has gone before
Our vow, to boldly go
So thus, we open exploration's door
The Enterprise, her legacy goes on, first of her kind,
A starship, a ship of the line.
