"Interesting" in more than one way. Some neat stuff I didn't know about the set, like that the consoles actuatly responded to touch, or that that console in Engineering moved (don't recall ever seeing that in the series) but the two guys where tools and, yeah, it's 1988 but they SUCK at using a camera and making a video.

Got to leave, but Troi was going to get married?

Season One episode, Haven, where someone she was comitted to be married to came on ship. She dosen't really want to go through with it, her mother fights with the husband-to-be's parents, the husband eventualy beams aboard a plague-ridden vessel in order to help them cure their plague.

I tried to watch it, but couldn't even get very far into the first one. Mostly cause that guy was REALLY getting on my nerves. What a douche bag...

Yeah he was a tool. He eventualy dons a unifrom (I guess the prop/costume department was open to them too) and tries to act like an officer showing us around a real ship that's apparently suffering from severe renovations and has missed paying its last few electrical bills.

But it's kind of interesting, in a way, to see the sets in that state (shut down).

I'd be curious on more information on this video, how they "broke in" to the set and got some of the lights and displays on, got the costumes, and what eventualy happened to them. Not to mention who found the video a put it up on the web.

^The tool's, um host's, uniform looked like a fan-made uniform and not one of the uni's made by the costume department. It had several errors, including the zipper which nearly shows in the video.

But I too am curious about how they got on the set. The last part seems to end with them getting caught and trying to run out.

That bald guy is a right fucking tit.

You get the impression that it was his idea to do a behind the scenes documentary. Everybody else is just excited to be there. They should have just filmed a few bits and got the fuck out of dodge.

When you get access to Willy Wonkas factory, you dont stop to make a documentary....

Who are you going to show it to ? :wtf:

I don't understand how the transporter console responds to his touch in the second part...

Is he touching pysical switches that we just can't see?

And yes, that huy is INCREDIBLY annoying.

Wow, that guy reminds me of Michael Scott (Steve Carell's character) from The Office.

What a tool. "Get me my black and white camera from my attaché case NOW!"

After watching those I feel violated.

If the only justice in this is that the jerkass had to wait until now to see the 'fruits' of his labor, then I'll still be happy. I can only think he's shaking his head and saying what a dork he was. Too bad he probably doesn't even realize it...

Was this a guy that actually worked on the set or was he some asshole off the street who managed to break into the set? Weird - I've never seen this footage before - not even at conventions back in the early days.

Then you missed him destroying sickbay.

Actualy he didn't destroy sickbay (there was no sickbay set in Season 1, the ObsLounge set was used.)

He does try and to climb onto the main biobed and ends up knocking the thing over climbing off it.

The guy was a grade-A tool. (Did he really need to play "in character" for the "tour" of the ship?) But it was interesting seeing the sets like that.

Since the biobed was the only thing in 'sickbay', and he knocked it over, then he destroyed sickbay. Unless you really need to split hairs further.

:p

10th March 1988 (a thursday). Was that between seasons or were they still shooting there?

I would guess that was towards the end of the Season, if not the end. He mentions Skin of Evil when he's in Sickbay.

The more I think about that guy the more angry I get, you know. Its losers like him that give Trek fans a bad name.
