A Time to Kill: My thoughts *SPOILERS*

I just finished A Time to Kill, and I can pretty much sum up all of my feelings in one word: AWSOME!! Great characterisations, great action (it is David Mack after all), riveting plot. This is deffinitely now one of my favorite books, Trek or otherwise. :bolian: :bolian:

Thank you, JD. Glad you enjoyed it!

You've probably already heard this from other posters, but I'll offer you this caveat about its followup, A Time to Heal -- they are very different books, in both tone and structure. That was deliberate; I wanted to write two books with a continuing storyline that would nonetheless feel like distinct works, rather than one book split into two parts.

I hope you'll be as effusive after finishing A Time to Heal.

Well, I've really liked all of you're books that I've read, so my feelings about Heal probably won't be that different.

Too kind... and we'll see. I've been told that some readers find A Time to Heal politically incendiary and polarizing. It's my hope that whatever qualities it might possess in that regard won't detract from your appreciation of it.

Well, from what I've heard it probably won't bother me. I enjoy stuff that takes current events and changes them so that look at them in a different way.
