Hey all thought I would post some pics from the con I went to which had lots of Stargate folks!

Firstly the wonderful David Hewlett who as some may have noticed is the personal mancrush of moi. Yes, and he looks VERY FINE and really pretty much the same. Fun engaging speaker

Just look how adorable he is!!

He was joined on stage by David Nykl who played Zelenka and they had some fun teasing each other.

And then it was SYSTEM LORD TIME! The System Lords were brought in under armed guard of a team of folk cosplaying SG:1 crew

I was so excited that my favorite Goa'uld was going to be there, Nirrti, and Jacqueline Samuda was stunning and the most engaging of the guests.

We of course had Apophis who was asked if he was going to come back again

Here they all are. Samuda is telling a story about Nirrti's bindi.

Really Samuda was radiant the whole time.

I recently started watching random episodes on DVD, I started with the end of SG1 episodes of season 8, then went to Full Circle and The end of season 7 (Names I'm drawing blanks on.) They are better than I remember mainly because I skipped the episodes in between. My problem with the later Stargates are they just solve EVERYTHING with tech. But if you just go to the season finales and watch the action you normally don't care.

I really miss Ball and Apophis. I rather they come back instead of replicators and clones and mean asgard and the insane Atlantis crap.

I'm envious. This show looks like it was a lot of fun.

I liked the original series though Atlantis didn't hold me for very long and Universe just kind of sucked.

Toward the middle of season 2, when... err... to avoid spoilers, when stuff's different to how it started, and the cast really started to gel, they killed it. And I *hate* the way it ended.
