Indeed. I feel sorry all those who see it as a competition. What's the point? Certain things in each universe sucked on their own, they don't need to suck in comparison to the other universe.
I LOVED THE PREQUELS. I saw AOTC 9 times in the cinema. I saw ANH when it first came out, I guess I was 15.. watched it 7 times that summer. There will never be a movie experience like it for me, not just because it was great but because of my age and how little had come before it. I was an avid TOS fan at the time too, watched it twice a day.
I also love STXI. The Hoth thing is silly, all ice planets look the same.
So, in response to the thread title, this Star Wars fan LOVED ST:XI.
