This is a very general, and very simple poem that I wrote about Star Trek. It's supposed to capture more of the feel of Star Trek more than it is to describe anything specific. I may post more later.
They say fortune, it favors
The ones who are bold
Whose stories of glory
Will forever be told
Outward we venture
To locations unknown
To discover new life
Makes us feel less alone
These planets we visit
So strange and so new
Danger, excitement
To ourselves we stay true
Possibilities endless
As we take off once more
Going ever so boldly
Where no one has gone before
They say fortune, it favors
The ones who are bold
Whose stories of glory
Will forever be told
Outward we venture
To locations unknown
To discover new life
Makes us feel less alone
These planets we visit
So strange and so new
Danger, excitement
To ourselves we stay true
Possibilities endless
As we take off once more
Going ever so boldly
Where no one has gone before
