I've been told that some of these are too different to be Federation ships. But that's the point to try something new. Take the Oberth class. Remove the insignia and it could be a non starfleet ship. I love the uniqueness of its design and it really stands out from the fleet.

Thanks. I decided to flip the saucer on its side. The "tail" that connect to the pylons is inspired the the catamaran like sections of the Akira class.

I think from the side it looks like a fish so I called it Wanda from a the film A Fish Called Wanda.
