A real treat in gaming music

I just found this remix of the original UNREAL's ending track on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsVAFc9Xelk

Figured I would share it with you folks because there may be some Unreal franchise fans here on the forum. But I highly recommend it to anyone because Bryan El's music has the tendency to really take people places. I originally listened to it years ago but forgot about it until a related search brought it up again.

So this is where they got the Halo Soundtrack... Forerunner Studios. You know, the ones who produced 343 Guilty Bieber. ;p

The music was probably the best thing about the original Unreal. The music for the Sunspire level is one of my favorite video game tracks of all time.

Thanks for posting that track. :)

The soundtrack of the original Unreal is really excellent. I have always thought that the tracker music files used in Unreal and Deus Ex have a really cool and distinct sound.

Some people dismiss the original Unreal as bland, or just a graphics tech demo, but I think it has a really awesome atmosphere. I replay it every couple of years.

I agree. I thought it was a huge step up in graphics at the time. I remember following the development of the game religiously, and it had a pretty long development time from what I remember, and when it was finally released, I surprised my brother by getting a copy. We spent a lot of time playing with the bots, which was a huge step up from the Quake bots. Actually, the way the game used bots revolutionized bots in general and I still see modern games use the same model today.
