A question about Q&A

Where does this book fall in the timelines? I think it fits somewhere in between a couple of Titan books but not sure.


Just finished Titan book "Red King", not sure whether to dive into Orion's Hound, Q&A or dive into old stuff like The Lost Years

In terms of the TNG books, Q & A slots between Resistance and Before Dishonor. In relation to Orion's Hounds, it doesn't really matter which you read first. They both take place in 2380, but they take place on opposite sides of the galaxy from each other.

^Well, the same side of the galaxy, just different regions of the Orion Arm. In Orion's Hounds, Titan's distance from Federation space is less than one percent the diameter of the galactic disk.

Hyperbole aside, though, the storylines in the TNG and Titan series are completely non-overlapping except in the Destiny trilogy. (For what it's worth, though, the TNG novels Resistance, Q & A, and Before Dishonor all take place between Orion's Hounds and Sword of Damocles.)
