a quedstion about thread number

In thi section ( general trek discussion) there should be 6410 thread, but i can see just 94 thread, why?

where is the others 6316 threads?

Ah, the link in my post wasn't quite right. The earlier posts there describe how to change the display options. It's easy enough.

It's a big forum so I assume it's done to maintain an easy overview. If you have questions or feedback it's best to post them in the forum dedicated to them (where the thread I linked to resides). You could ask that in that thread, actually. The admins and more mods read it there than here.

I thought it was down in part to the default setting being to show only active threads within the last month. Though I believe it is preferred that you don't post in a thread that has been dead for several months+, but start a new thread on that topic.

And some might be missing because of the server crash several years ago (mods correct me If I'm in error)

Also, there have been trimmings to keep the database an acceptable size. I think that all threads predating 2007 or so have been deleted. That happened a while ago but was announced in advance so people could save threads they wanted to keep.
