Due to budget contraints, many episodes of Star Trek(s) are whay they call "bottle shows." No new sets built, and they show takes place totally on the ship, with stock footage of the ship as well. What are your three favorite bottle shows from any of the Trek TV shows?
The Offspring
I love this episode, it is one of my all time TREK favorite episodes. And it is totally all aboard the ship and well done. This show is the one I show people when I want to prove to them that Star Trek is not just about space battles and phaser fights.
Ship in A Bottle
The second of the Moriarty episodes is another all ship episode (no London sets) that ranks up there with some of the best TREKs of all time. Another well done bottle show!
Charlie-X
I have always liked this episode. It seems dated now, but it is still creepy. The fact they are stuck on that ship with that kid actually adds to the tension as the episode continues. There is no escaping him; they were all his prisoners.
What are some of your favorite Bottle shows. Remember the rules. EVERY scene must be on the ship (or DS9) and not have any scenes depicted anywhere else (thus Mirror Mirror can not apply)
