A little Trek quiz: Match the actor with the alien!

OMG! What a fun thread!
I am going to try not to peek at the answers and see who i can identify--

but with your "hint" about the last one (#26), i'd have to say either Lursa or B'Etor....
No, but both Lursa and B'etor are in the pics on this page and haven't been recognized yet. This actress was in just one episode of DS9, but I was curious what females of that race looked like in real life. :p Hint: which race is uglier than the Klingons? :klingon:

One Ep of DS9? gah! I wont be able to come up with that one. Since DS9 was my least favorite i havent watched it in a while....

And as far as Lursa and B'etor they then have to be #13 and #24, but i cant say who is who.

And #25 has GOT to be a Klingon!

You're right, #24 is indeed Lursa (Barbara March)!
But #13 is not B'etor - it's another Klingon, and it's already been guessed - it's Ba'el from TNG "Birthright".
And #25 did play a Klingon (a very renowned one, even though he was in just one episode, I think). He's one of the actors from the list that I know from quite a few other things (like Oz).

As for #26, I think most people would not remember the name of the character... (I love DS9, but it's not one of my favorite episodes.) It would be enough if you could even guess the alien race! (I wouldn't have guessed!)

Most of the other people that haven't been guessed yet were either Cardassians or Klingons (except for one... and that one is the only TOS alien on this list).

And #18....that one is driving me CRAZY! (short drive).... i KNOW that face!
If you're not into DS9/don't remember it, then you probably don't remember him from there... Maybe you recognize him from Total Recall or something else.

Did #18 play a Jem'Hadar? Specifically in the episode that was the end of season 2? Jem'Hadar I think is the episode name.

And did #25 play Kahless?

Hmmmm.... uglier than Klingons? Tellarites immediately come to mind...Anticans are another...

I love watching Gunsmoke for seeing all the different guest stars who also did Star Trek. Just saw DeForest Kelley in the first season of Gunsmoke (1955) where he had longer hair and a thick beard! Man, he looked different and somewhat weird.
I saw Nimoy playing a Native American on YT. Who else is there out of Trek actors?

Oh, I mean also the guest stars of Star Trek too, such as Robert Lansing, Barry Atwater. Plus it is interesting to see people you didn't realize were actors, such as Aaron Spelling. :)

I didn't mean either of them, but oh god, you are right, Tellarites are even uglier! TOS sure knew how to make an ugly alien race. But then they weren't that much on screen, were they? As for Anticans, well, strangely enough, one of the actors from the list actually played an Antican in one of his many Trek appearances (the only named Antican, I think), but it sure wasn't one of his better known Trek roles. And he was certainly totally unrecognizable as far as looks go! http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/memoryalpha/en/images/thumb/5/51/BadarNDD.jpg/600px-BadarNDD.jpg

Yes, #25 - Kevin Conway - played Kahless! :techman:

However, #18 did not play a Jem'Hadar. But you've just made me realize that I haven't included any Jem'Hadars! What a terrible omission on my part! Well, to rectify this, I'll put some pics of Jem'Hadar actors next, although I've now spoiled it what they played.

But first - here are a few people I'm sure you all know:

28. I guess it's Andy Robinson who gave us Garak
30. Jeff Combs played everybody :D
I'll just name one of his roles: Brunt

And here are a few Jem'Hadar actors - although I've already spoiled what they played. But double respect to anyone who can figure out which episode they were in and what character exactly they played - I'd only be able to recognize one or two! (Some of them played other Trek characters besides Jem'hadars, though.)

33. -The only Jem'Hadar actor I immediately recognized.

and finally:

37. - certainly the most familiar actor to play a Jem'Hadar. I had no clue he was even ever on Trek till I looked it up!

37. Is Clarence Williams III Omet'iklan in "To the Death."
35. Is Phil Moriss Remata'Klan the best Jem'Hadar there ever was!
33. Is Brian Thompson He played a bunch of dudes (Does a lot of sci-fi stuff.)
31 Wallace Shawn is Zek
29. is Rachel Nichols she played the Andorian chick in nuTrek (forget her name)

32 is buggin the piss out of me... I recognize the face and his name is right at the tip of my tounge I just can't get it.

I bow to your knowledge of the Jem'Hadar! :bolian::techman:

Yeah, Brian Thompson has been in all sorts of SF and fantasy stuff.. probably best-known as the Alien Bounty Hunter (aka "Schwarzenalien") from The X-Files. He was the only Jemmie I recognized immediately in the episode. He was the troublemaker who was killed by Clarence Williams in "To The Death".

Yep, Rachel Nichols was Gaila in ST09 - but she was Orion, not Andorian (green, not blue :rommie: ).

Interesting piece of info: Phil Morris is one of the people who played several Trek roles - including a Klingon and a few humans, in addition to the Jem'Hadar. He's been on DS9, VOY, STIII: TSFS, and even TOS - as one of the kids in "Miri"! http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Phil_Morris

BTW my favourite Jemmie was the First from "Hippocratic Oath" (no way I am going to remember their names - they aren't ever even mentioned on screen, are they?).

WOW! Because DS9 is my least fav, i probably have only watched each one of those episodes only once....i never knew most of those people played Jem Hadars! I seriously need to go back and give DS9 another try.

i totally loved Phil Morris as Lt Kelly in Voyager.

and #33....i KNOW him but don't recall his name. Had he ever played a Cardassian too? He would have made a GREAT Cardassian.

Brian Thompson would really be good for any warrior race. He's been on TNG, DS9 and Enterprise as well as in Generations (in addition to lots of other SF & fantasy stuff like The X-Files, Buffy, etc. - I even remember him as Heracles/Hercules in a god-awful TV movie "Jason and the Argounauts" ), and has never played a Cardassian, but he's played a couple of Klingons and a Romulan, and even a member of a race called Dosi. http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Brian_Thompson

I do believe that number 18 played the late unlamented legate Broca on DS9 and the actors name is Mel Johnson Jr.

Yep. One of those instances where I didn't even have a clue the actor was black until I saw his pic without makeup. :cardie: Pretty much the same thing happens to me with the Jem'Hadar and most Klingons (i.e. I can never tell if they're white or black in RL).
