SB, all you really have to do is get it started with something kinda quirky & fun (AND DS9 CENTERED). Folks who like to post around here will take it from there. When was the last time I actually served a drink or dish in here anyway???

Once upon a time, in a faraway reality, there was a poster named starbys who loved to give avatars to good girls and boys. Well, I was a good girl, plus I begged and pleaded, and she gave me this sweet little avatar:
Well, she got kinda tired of holding the fire lizard ALL the time, and her clothes started to smell after a while, so I decided she needed a few changes of clothes. I just modified her pixel by pixel in Paint.
My favories are SakrystaAeryn, naturally, as well as SakrystaTrance (the purple one with the tail), SakrystaBooji (the one with the bucket on her head), SakrystaLefler (the one in pink - I tried to make a top that looked like Robin Lefler's pink outfit from "The Game") and SakrystaVamp (the one at the end in the hat and cloak who looks kinda mean).

And SB....while we do wanna maintain some connection to DS9...this *is* a community thread, designed for the members and friends of this forum to come and talk and enjoy being together. As you can see...it's not a spam thread or anything...but it *is* a place for the gang to share ideas and experiences.
So while a connection should be made, it's not a hugely critical connection. Just something to let Niners and friends of the forum know that they are welcome.
And SB....while we do wanna maintain some connection to DS9...this *is* a community thread, designed for the members and friends of this forum to come and talk and enjoy being together. As you can see...it's not a spam thread or anything...but it *is* a place for the gang to share ideas and experiences.

This time last year, our first thousand-post community thread had not yet been born (Countdown to Season 7...for those who don't remember)...so in the past year, we've had two wonderful threads that will have been closed for length.
I'm glad that we have such a great gang of friends in here, where we can have threads like this one - a place where we can all get together and get to know more about each other other than what we think about this or that episode of DS9.
