It took them 13 days to fix it (their estimate was 4 weeks), so this is amazing. They said the reason that it got fixed so fast is cos it was fixed in Quebec, not Toronto. *shrugs* I don't care, I got my puter back!

Glad you got your laptop back BigFoot. I'd say it wasn't the same here without ya, but did you leave??? Just kidding. Nice to know the company was good enough to get it back to you quickly. That's quite an expensive piece of hardware to just ship off for who knows how long!

Nah, I never left. I was either online at school or on my g/f's PC. And yeah, I was pleasantly surprised they got it to me this fast. Anyway...my Matrix av is up and running.

One question - why this thread title? I didn't even know what this thread was until I got REALLY bored the other day. I was expecting something like "Kev's Gagh Palace" or something else that sounded like...you know...a Klingon restaurant?

In other news, I watched some more B5 last night. The episode was "Parliament of Dreams" or something like that. That was a pretty cool scene at the end with all the representatives of Earth's religions. I must say that I'm enjoying watching a new (to me at least) series from the beginning.

^ Nope, I'm renting them from Zip.ca. It's like Netflix for Canadians. It's a little slow, since they only have 1 distrubtion centre and it's in Ottawa, so I'm probably going to cancel it when my (extended) free trial is up next month.

Although, I am enjoying the series so far, so I might just end up buying the sets.

^ That's the spirit. Speaking of ordering DVDs, after I couldn't find S4 of Stargate anywhere for a decent price (HMV had it for outrageous $84 CDN), I decided to just order it from amazon.ca. Their price was $5 higher then FutureShop's would be, but I used a $5 coupon so that evened out, and that way I was also able to order Star Trek SCE Book 2, which I've also been looking for.
