A lot of things I agree on in the post and a lot of touching and heart-warming comments.

But not a single word of thanks to Jennifer Lien and her portrayal of Kes.

So let me add this:
To Jennifer Lien; your portrayal of Kes was the real icing on the cake, something to made the show incredible watchable. Kes really pesonified the spirit of Voyager and the whole Star Trek.

It is a shame that Kes is missing. She was a regularly cast member in the first half of the show. Simply dropping her is not justified, even if it was a character not everyone liked. So thanks @Lynx to add some nice words in favor of Kes. My favorite Kes episode is the one where she travels through several time periods.
