There is a shot of the guy cast as Jon up here.
Seven seasons at most. The book series will run for seven books, and the plan is for each season to adapt at least one book (some of the books may be collapsed into one season, which would of course cut down the overall number of seasons - the casting notes suggest that a rumor that the fourth and fifth books may be collapsed into a single season may well be true). So will it take 20 seasons to tell the whole saga?
Now remove the hair and add one for StannisI'm really, really bored today.

Here are some of the characters as depicted in the Dabel Brothers A Song of Ice and Fire calendar:
Eddard "Ned" Stark (Sean Bean)
Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)
Jon Snow (Kit Harington)
Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)
Ah, I see. The story in the The Hollywood Reporter listed Doctor Who as a credit for the Sophie Turner who's been cast, and since it was only one of two credits on that Sophie Turner's IMDB page I thought she was the appropriate young actress. But that's obviously not the case.BTW, the Sophie Turner on IMDb isn't the same one. She and Maizie Williams are complete newcomers and they look the part judging by the tiny, tiny pics.
